Discussing a Business Proposal
CAE (C1)AI've had a chance to go through your proposal, and while the concept is promising, I do have some reservations about the budget.
BI appreciate that. Could you elaborate on which areas concern you most?
AMainly the marketing allocation — it seems disproportionate given the projected returns.
BThat's a fair point. We factored in an aggressive launch strategy, but I'm open to revisiting the figures.
AGood. If we can bring that down by around fifteen percent, I'd be inclined to move forward.

Academic Panel Discussion
Proficiency (C2)AOne could argue that the study's methodology, however rigorous, fails to account for the broader socio-economic variables at play.
BThat's a valid critique, though I'd contend that isolating those variables was precisely what allowed the researchers to draw such a clear causal link.
APerhaps, but doesn't that risk oversimplifying what is, in essence, a deeply multifaceted issue?
BIt's a trade-off, certainly. But without that narrower focus, I doubt the findings would carry the same empirical weight.
AFair enough. Still, I'd be curious to see how the conclusions hold up once those wider factors are reintroduced.
